About FoderTorget

FoderTorget is a marketplace for forage between producers and horse owners across Sweden. We started in Skåne, where both the farms and the horses are most densely concentrated, and the register has covered every postcode in the country since.

Why nutritional values?

On Blocket and in the Facebook groups, nutritional values are free text, if they appear at all. A horse owner whose horse is prone to laminitis cannot search on sugar content — they have to read two hundred listings. Here the values from the forage analysis are structured data, so they can be filtered on.

We take no cut of the sale

No payment happens on the platform. Buyer and producer agree on price and payment directly, exactly as today. We keep track of the request, the terms and what was said.
